Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, BI Incorporated, GEO Care provides compliance technologies, industry-leading monitoring services, and evidence-based supervision and treatment programs to federal, state and local corrections agencies. Innovative products, expert technical and monitoring customer service, U.S.-based manufacturing, and evidence-based treatment and counseling programs from BI assist agencies to curb future crime and conserve scarce local resources. BI also designs and develops web-based software applications which enable agency staff supervising low- to high-risk populations to access and manage client data for growing offender case loads.
- More than 60,000 individuals are monitored worldwide with BI compliance technologies, including location monitoring (e.g. GPS tracking, radio frequency, and voice verification) and alcohol monitoring devices. BI also offers full service electronic monitoring offices, installer programs, and offender-pay programs to support agency staff.
- Approximately 8,000 offenders and defendants receive services in more than 40 BI offices throughout the U.S. today. This includes 2,000 offenders that receive cognitive behavioral treatment aimed at lasting behavior change. Affordable programs are available to reduce recidivism and maximize current agency resources while also realizing the greatest return on taxpayer dollars.
