GEO has been involved in the management of correctional facilities for the past two decades. Our reputation has been earned through dedication to a management philosophy that emphasizes security first. GEO prides itself in implementing new and innovative approaches to corrections to include new technology which enhances the security and supervision of offenders. While effective technology is key, the primary source of security, which is vital for all GEO facilities, is our staff.
GEO staff are a well trained and a diversified work force that professionally maintains order and control to ensure the health and safety of offenders, visitors and staff. All staff is properly trained in the implementation of facility policies and procedures and are guided by post orders on all security assignments to assist in the preventing incidents, maintaining order, providing care, custody, and control, and managing the offender population.
