The GEO Group is looking to fill almost 300 jobs as it prepares to reopen the North Lake Correctional Facility in Baldwin.
It comes after The GEO Group signed a new ten year contract.
The prison in Baldwin has opened and closed several times in the last several years.
The GEO Group is holding another hiring event Wednesday May 29th, in Ludington.
That goes until 6 p.m.
Michigan Works! and GEO plan to host more hiring events until all of the positions are filled.
