The Central Arizona Correctional Facility (CACF) opened December 11, 2006. Staff was recruited from the local community and local vendors were used as much as possible. As a result, the facility contributes significantly to the local economy through salaries and purchase of goods and services.
Central Arizona Correctional Facility offers employability skills, parenting, substance abuse education and counseling, nutrition/diet education, education, GED classes, ABE classes, case management, individual/ group counseling, stress management, facility work programs, and job placement.
The Central Arizona Correctional Facility was designed by CSC and built by GEO in 2006.
The facility achieved initial accreditation through the American Correctional Association in 2013 and re-accreditation in 2016 with a score of 99.27%.
A fantastic inmate pianist playing Pomp and Circumstance provided a musical accompaniment as fifteen student inmates at the Central Arizona Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility (CACRF) dressed in black gowns and graduation caps walked with dignity. READ MORE
