BACKGROUND

The Coastal Bend Detention Center provides secure care, custody, and control for USMS detainees. Services provided by GEO include security, medical care, food, laundry, booking, and transportation. Both male and female detainees are housed at the Facility and include both pre-trial detainees and sentenced felons awaiting transfer to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
