In June, The GEO Group’s Corporate Nursing Team spent a week with the teams at the Adelanto ICE Processing Center and Desert View Annex, where nursing, provider, and behavioral health staff demonstrated professionalism, engagement, and a strong commitment to patient care. Throughout the training sessions, staff participated in discussions, shared insights, and explored ways to strengthen their shared commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Special thanks should be extended to Jiena Deeb-Noone, Corporate Nurse Practitioner; Dr. Herrman, Vice President, Behavioral Health Services; Dr. Yamileth Fisher, Manager, Behavioral Health Services; Kathleen Uhler, Electronic Health Records Analyst; Maria Gonzalez, Electronic Health Records Analyst; Liz Burson, Electronic Health Records Analyst; and Reginia Graves, Director of Regional Training for their partnership, preparation, facilitation, and hands-on coaching.
