Lewiston – GEO Reentry Services and the Idaho Department of Correction will host a Transition Celebration for individuals on probation and parole who have successfully completed the Connection and Intervention Station reentry program. The event will be held Wednesday, June 4, at noon at the Lewiston Community Center, 1424 Main Street.
The event’s keynote speaker is Joene Cliffe, an independent living advocate with Lewiston's Disability Action Center. Bree Derrick, Director of the Idaho Department of Correction, will also attend.
GEO Reentry staff, family members, community partner agencies, DOC officials and others will attend the event recognizing program graduates’ accomplishments. In addition to the keynote speaker, some program graduates will address attendees. The event is an opportunity for the participants and their support network to celebrate the successful completion of this unique program designed to reduce criminal behavior.
